5/04 Coconino National Forest fire crews stopped forward progress on the Dane Fire, 12-miles east of Clint’s Well. The fire, first reported Friday morning, charred 215-acres. Smoke will remain visible from Highway-87, the Happy Jack area, and communities below the Mogollon Rim. The public is asked to avoid the area. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
