9/16 The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office is conducting a mail and package theft investigation that spans across the Verde Valley. Numerous reports of theft have been received including many along Salt Mine Road in Camp Verde. The investigation led them to 57-year-old Laura Amundson of Rimrock. Trackers were placed in packages and left as decoys. On August 11-th one of those packages was removed from a mailbox and was then tied to Amundson. The Marshals Office is currently looking for any additional victims. Stolen property was located in her vehicle during a traffic stop and additional stolen items, drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in her home.
