4/29 Tuesday morning, Page Police responded to a 2-vehicle crash on Highway-89 near the entrance to Horseshoe Bend. The investigation determined the driver of a minivan, heading north on Highway-89, braked quickly to avoid colliding with another driver who was trying to make an illegal left into Horseshoe Bend. The van stopped in time, but was hit from behind by a semi that had been following it. Two people were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
