6/30 Two Cottonwood men were recently arrested by the Camp Verde Marshals Office on felony drug charges. Officials say the men were stopped on I-17, near the Highway-260 junction, due to their vehicle having a suspended registration. A K9 alerted to the vehicle at which time deputies seized 33-grams of powdered fentanyl, 27-grams of methamphetamine and 3.7-grams of mushrooms. Deputies also recovered drug paraphernalia and items used to transport and sell drugs. Arrested was Cody Deal and Reed Chamberlain.
