4/1 Friday night, Copper Canyon Fire responded to 2-vehicle fires at the same time; a semi fire on I-17 and a vehicle fire at South Ralston Ranch Road and East Rooster Road. While crews were working both fires, Verde Valley Fire also responded to handle any additional calls if they came in. Verde Valley Fire also supplied a brush truck due to the vehicle fire spreading into nearby brush. Both fires were doused and no injuries were reported. The Rooster Road fire remains under investigation.
