9/22 The paved portion of Copper Basin Road is going to get an extension. Yavapai County says the road will now be paved until it reaches the forest boundary. Construction begins September 28-th and should be finished by mid-December. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times with flaggers guiding motorists through the area.
