9/15 The Coconino County School Superintendents Office is taking public comments on a candidate for the Williams Unified School District. Renee Hatch is the only candidate that stepped forward to fill the seat. Her term would begin in January, 2027. Since she was the only candidate to file, the November election will likely be canceled. Hatch may be sat earlier if approved due to a recent resignation on the same board that occurred on September 9-th. Comments for or against Hatch are due by October 9-th. Community members are encouraged to provide comments regarding the potential appointment by emailing cmango-paget@coconino.az.gov by October 9, 2026
