5/27 Crews gained significant containment on the Cody Fire near Oracle over the long weekend. Coronado National Forest officials say the fire is 83% contained at just over 1,200-acres. Today, crews are focusing on monitoring and patrolling containment lines, dousing hot spots, and conducting mop-up operations. In addition, suppression repairs are being made. All evacuations due to the fire were downgraded. Stage-2 Fire Restrictions remain in place.
