4/11 Coconino National Forest Fire Managers halted work on the Campbell Mesa prescribed burn project, northeast of Flagstaff. Officials say the burn has been postponed due to the weather. The burn was to continue through Saturday, but crews will now wait until next week to try again. The project involves burning just over 2-thousand acres. Officials say they did complete a 491-acre burn earlier this week in the Doney Park area.
