5/29 Coconino National Forest firefighters responded to the West Fire Thursday. As of last night, the fire had burned 5-acres in the West Clear Creek area, about 4.5-miles west of Clints Well. Visitors in the area will see additional fire vehicle traffic in the area, including along Highway-87. The public is being asked to avoid the area if possible.
