Coconino County to Test Emergency Notification System Monday, March 30

3/24 Coconino County Emergency Management will conduct a countywide test of the Emergency Notification System next Monday, at noon. The purpose of the test is to make sure the system is working properly. All messaging received by the public during the test will state that the message is a “TEST” and that no action is needed. The test will be sent via wireless devices and email. Prior to the test, all residents are encouraged to sign up for a free Smart911 account. If you already have one, you’re being asked to make sure it’s up to date. To register for a free Smart911 account, or to obtain more information, residents should visit coconino.az.gov/ready. If residents have additional questions, they can contact Coconino County Emergency Management at 928-679-8311, or by email at emergencymanagement@coconino.az.gov
