Coconino County Sheriff’s Office Seize over $1 Million in Drugs During Recent Busts

9/9 The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office says they’ve removed more than $1.17-million worth of drugs of the streets over the past couple of months and made several drug arrests. A traffic stop, on July 27-th ended in 3-arrests and the seizure of over 10-pounds of black tar heroin. July 30-th, deputies seized nearly 10-pounds of carfentanil, a drug 10-times more potent than fentanyl. On July 31-st, 1-pound of meth was seized and on September 7-th, a K9 alerted to a vehicle near Twin Arrows where 135-pounds of meth and 3-pounds of marijuana were located. A total of 6-people were arrested on felony drug charges.
