8/25 Coconino County received a Declaration of Economic Injury from the Small Business Administration, which opens the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program to businesses impacted by this year’s Pocket Fire. The program is available to all businesses in Coconino and Yavapai Counties, as well as neighboring Gila, La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave and Navajo Counties and Tribal Nations. The deadline to file claims in May 11-th of next year. In person SBA assistance is available in two locations. Walk-ins are welcome, and in-person appointments can be scheduled in advance at appointment.sba.gov. To apply online, visit sba.gov/disaster.
