9/2 The Arizona Association of Emergency Managers named Coconino County Emergency Management Director Tim Carter, Emergency Management Professional of the Year. Carter oversaw responses to the White Sage and Dragon Bravo Fires last year and the Pocket Fire this year. His most recent disaster to work was the flooding in the Grand Canyon this past weekend. Carter has 20-years of public safety experience including 13-years with Coconino County.
