Brush Fire Doused Along Highway-260

4/8 Verde Valley Fire responded to a small brush fire off Highway-260. Crews quickly put the fire out and kept it from spreading. Officials say it’s important to be careful with dry vegetation along the roadways. Secure all chains and make sure nothing metal is dragging while towing, make sure your vehicle is in good running order and put cigarette butts in an ash tray; don’t flick them out the window.
