8/18 An alleged DUI driver started several fires in Prescott Valley Sunday. Central Arizona Fire and Medical and Prescott Valley Police responded to a vehicle fire near East Addis Avenue and Cattletrack that was spreading into the brush. Officials say the driver drove the burning vehicle through a field, igniting several fires along the way. Firefighters arrived to find Prescott Valley Police Officers and members of the public using fire extinguishers to slow the fire’s spread. Firefighters extricated the driver from the vehicle and doused the fire. The driver was taken to the hospital for treatment after which they were arrested for DUI.
