4/02 Delays should be expected on westbound I-40, 3-miles west of Williams, starting next week. ADOT crews will work around the clock to remove temporary paving, replace damaged guardrail and then repave the roadway. Traffic will be reduced to 1-lane through the construction zone. This portion of the interstate was severely damaged during a multi-vehicle crash and fire that occurred in March of last year. The entire project should be finished by late summer.
