ADOT Resuming Work Across Northern Arizona

3/26 ADOT crews are ready to get back to work in northern Arizona. Projects that have been on hold for the winter, are resuming. Crews will get back to work on the I-17 wildlife crossing, south of Flagstaff at Willard Springs. The entire project should be finished by this fall. Work resumes next Monday on the Highway-87 improvement project in Payson. Pavement resurfacing along 5-miles of the highway, between Green Valley Parkway and Crackjack Road, is expected to begin by May. Drivers can expect mostly overnight lane restrictions Sunday through Thursday nights. The project should be done by this Fall. Crews are also starting up a guardrail project in Oak Creek Canyon on Highway-89A, from Pine Flat Campground to the Scenic Overlook at the top of the Switchbacks. Traffic will be reduced to 1-lane with temporary traffic signals allowing traffic through. The work starts next Wednesday and should be finished by late summer. Delays should be expected. Work will also resume on I-40 in Kingman, Highway-64 in Williams and Highway-160 in Tuba City.
