The Coconino County Public Health Services District Clinic is providing free backpacks to students that come in for back-to-school immunizations or sports physicals while supplies last. Appointments are available at the clinic, on North King Street in Flagstaff, Monday through Friday by calling 928-679-7222. Immunizations and sports physicals are also available on a walk-in basis on August 11th & Sept. 8th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The cost for a sports physical is $20. Childhood immunizations are available via the Vaccines for Children program or through insurance. Officials say no one will be denied services due to an inability to pay. Vaccinations and physicals are also available through Yavapai County Public Health Services.
