11/3 Mayor Marie Moore Over the past few days, Camp Verde has experienced historic flooding. Our first responders and public works crews have been working around the clock, performing swift-water rescues and going door to door to keep our neighbors safe.
If you are in a flood-prone area, please stay alert and follow all evacuation orders:
Know your zone: download the Genasys Protect app or check evacuation statuses through the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office.
Shelter: Camp Verde Middle School Gymnasium, 370 Camp Lincoln Road (large animals: Verde Valley Fairgrounds).
Sandbags are available at sites across the community — take them if you are in a low-lying area.
Never drive through flooded low-water crossings or around barricades. Turn around, don’t drown.
If your home or business was impacted by the flooding, the Town is working to document damage and connect residents and business owners with recovery resources. Watch for the business damage-assessment survey and recovery programs coming through the Town’s channels, and visit campverde.az.gov for the latest updates
