10/22 Groom Creek Fire says due to hazardous road conditions, as a result of the stormy weather, Spruce Mountain Road is impassable beyond the Midnight Test Mine. Several trees fell across the roadway and will have to be removed before it’s safe to travel the road again. The National Weather Service was responding to the area to determine if the damages along the roadway were caused by a tornado. Clearing of the roadway will continue today. Any residents unable to leave their property are asked to stay put until the all clear is given.
