10/20 Coconino National Forest is looking for volunteers to help with tree planting on fire scars within the Flagstaff Ranger District. Volunteers will plant trees within the 2010 Schultz Fire, 2000 Pipe Fire, 1996 Horseshoe and Hochderffer Fires and the 1951 White Horse Fire. In each of these areas the fires burned so hot they killed all of the living trees. The tree planting is scheduled for Sunday, October 25-th. Volunteers can sign up to help plant trees by contacting Wade Gibson at wade.gibson@ecoculture.us. These plantings will take place in fire scars that include the 2010 Schultz Fire, 2000 Pipe Fire, 1996 Horseshoe and Hochderffer fires, and 1951 White Horse Fire.
