10/6 Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests fire mangers are planning several prescribed burns this fall. Over 8-thousand acres is scheduled to be treated near Dutch Joe Ranch and Forest Lakes, several thousand acres near Show Low, Pinetop and Vernon, over 12-thousand acres near Big Lake and Alpine and nearly 11-thousand acres in the area of Blue Vista Overlook. The burns will be dependent on the weather.
