Cottonwood Meeting Follow-Up & Draft Air Quality Permit Public Comment Period

Public Notice: Draft Air Quality Permit – Formal Public Comment Period
ADEQ has drafted the air quality permit for MRI, which includes stringent operational and control obligations designed to limit offsite transport of air contaminants. We encourage public review and participation during the formal comment period as follows:
- Public Comment Period: Sept. 29, 2026 – Nov. 30, 2026
- Formal Public Hearing: Wed., Nov. 18, 2026
- How to Submit Comments: Submit comments beginning Sept. 29, 2026, via mail, email, or orally at the public hearing. Detailed instructions and permit documentation can be viewed on the ADEQ Draft Permit & Public Notice Page.
