9/29 Tons of debris has and continues to be removed from Phantom Ranch within the Grand Canyon. National Park officials say staff have been using heavy equipment to move tons of debris from the mule corral at the ranch so supplies can be brought in by mule as well as by foot and helicopter. Work also continues on restoring water. Visitors with reservations to the park are urged to call ahead first for the most up-to-date information available. Stage-4 water restrictions have been in place since the August 29-th flood event.
