9/28 There was an officer involved shooting in Rock Springs Friday. DPS says the suspect in the case was shot, but their current condition was not known. The shooting occurred during an ongoing criminal investigation being conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. No officers were injured. The DPS Major Incident Division is handling the investigation. No names were released and no further information was given on what led up to the shooting.
