9/21 YCSO deputies are being credited with saving 3-lives recently. On August 11-th, deputies responded to a Dewey-Humboldt woman’s home after she failed to answer the door for “Meals on Wheels”. A deputy located an open and window and climbed in where the found the woman lying on the floor. Medical personnel arrived and treated the woman. In late August, deputies responded to an unresponsive child who was seizing and had a blocked airway. The deputy cleared the airway and the child was flown to a Phoenix area hospital. A deputy saved a man on August 25-th who had accidentally shot himself in the pelvis. The deputy controlled the bleeding and the man was flown to a Phoenix area hospital for treatment.
