9/15 Last Wednesday, Prescott Police responded to the area of Sunset Avenue and Gail Gardner Way on a report of up to a dozen gunshots being fired. Officers located nothing until Thursday morning when employees of Harmony Veterinary Care arrived to work to find the building had been shot up. The front door had been shot out and several rounds had been fired into the reception area and interior walls. Damages exceeded $10-thousand. Surveillance video showed someone pull up to the business in a white Ford Expedition and shoot 12-times into the building and then a couple more times as the suspect drove away. Officials say they used the FLOCK system to find the vehicle and identify the driver. This past Friday, officers arrested 66-year-old Anthony Aiello of Kirkland. Further investigation revealed Aiello had brought his dog to the vet in August and became upset. His social media posts show the dog died the day before the shooting. Aiello admitted to the crimes and was arrested on several felonies.
