8/31 An estimated 15-people remain missing in the Grand Canyon after Saturday’s flood event in the Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch areas. The National Park Service is asking the public to provide information for individuals who may be missing or unaccounted for following the flooding. If you know of hikers or backpackers who were in the Bright Angel Creek corridor on August 29-th, or if you had a campground reservation in the affected area, contact the National Park Service Investigative Services Branch.
