8/26 An FBI task force was in Arizona, working with local law enforcement agencies, to round up several violent offenders. Operation “Can’t Beat the Heat”, ran from August 10-th through the 21-st and resulted in 121-arrests. Officials say the suspects were made up of violent offenders, child sex offender, fugitives with weapons violations and gang members. The Flagstaff, Page and Navajo Police Departments and the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, participated.
