8/26 There’s no containment on the Campwood Fire, burning northeast of Bagdad. The Arizona Department of Forestry says the fire remained very active Tuesday with the fire mapped at 176-acres. Another flyover and mapping will take place today. Crews continue to work on containment lines out in front of the fire, due to the amount of fuel the fire is encountering in the area. Officials say the fire is burning in very steep and rugged terrain. Firefighters are also back burning in areas where control lines have been established.
