8/20 A portion of Meade Lane in Flagstaff will be under construction, starting Monday, August 31-st. A utility improvement project will begin, between Highway-180/Fort Valley Road and Rio de Flag Bridge. Work will include improvements to the stormwater infrastructure, removal and replacement of aging water and sewer lines, improvements to FUTS Trail, concrete curb, gutter and driveway entrance repairs and full roadway reconstruction. The entire project should be finished by next Summer. Work will take place Mondays through Fridays, from 6-to-6 each day. The city asks residents in the area to not park on the street during construction.
