8/04 Prescott Valley Police say the pedestrian struck by a vehicle Sunday died as a result of their injuries. The crash occurred on Highway-69 and Prescott East Highway. Officers arrived and found a pedestrian, with severe injuries, lying in the roadway. The pedestrian was declared deceased on scene. The investigation determined the pedestrian was crossing the roadway in an area where they did not have the right-of-way, and was struck by a passing vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and showed no signs of being impaired. No charges were filed against the driver and no information was given about the pedestrian.
