8/03 There was a fatal accident at Lake Powell last Thursday. Officials say they responded to a report of a boating accident in which a child had fallen off the bow of the boat and was then struck by the boat. The child was taken to Antelope Marina where they met with Page Fire Department and then transported to Page Hospital. Officials say despite all efforts, the child did not survive their injuries. Officials say the case remains under investigation. No names were released.
