8/03 Shortly after 1:30 in the morning Friday, Flagstaff Police responded to a call of a suspect threatening people with a handgun in the area of West Benton Avenue and South Beaver Street. The investigation suggests the suspect walked up to 3-people and a baby and threatened them with the weapon. After several hours of searching, the suspect, 29-year-old Roman Mata of Flagstaff was taken into custody on several felony charges, including 4-counts of aggravated assault. No other details were released.
