7/31 After a lengthy investigation, Prescott Police arrested 70-year-old David Velasquez of Prescott for sexual exploitation of a minor, aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation and luring a minor for sexual exploitation. The investigation began when the department received a tip about Velasquez by the Portland, Tennessee Police Department who found social media accounts that connected Velasquez to the crimes. The investigation determined there were victims across the country including a 13-year-old girl Velasquez contacted when she was 11. Tuesday, Prescott Police served a search warrant at his home. They seized electronic devices and took Velasquez into custody. Additional evidence was found on his phone.
