7/14 Yavapai County is notifying property taxpayers of the county’s intention to raise its primary property taxes over last year. Yavapai County is proposing an increase in primary property taxes of $1.9-million or 2.9%. Primary property taxes on a $100,000 home will go up to $164.43; it’s currently $159.84 an increase of $4.59. A public hearing will be held on Monday, July 27-th, at 9-am, at the Supervisors Hearing Rooms in Cottonwood or Prescott. You can find further information on the county’s website.
