7/02 The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management released the last update on the Gold Fire. The fire, 5.5-miles north of Top-Of-The-World, is 80% contained at 136-acres. Mop up and repairs will be taking place over the next few days. The final update was also given on the Spring Fire, near Pumpkin Center. It’s 95% contained at 110-acres. Resources are being released to fight other fires. Both blazes should be 100% contained by the end of the day today.
