7/01 The lightning caused Sycamore Fire, north of Globe, is now 76% contained at 11,939-acres. Tonto National Forest officials say the fire area remains closed to the public. Tuesday, crews patrolled containment lines, extinguished remaining hotspots and finished grading Forest Road-303. More of the same work will occur over the several days.
