6/29 The Pocket Fire, in Oak Creek Canyon, remains 0% contained with 11,192-acres burned. Firefighters continue to build containment lines along Forest Road 535, south of Kachina Village and burnout operations were conducted last night, which resulted in the higher burned acreage number. . Officials say they’re using the 2014 Slide Fire burn area to help slow the blaze. The team in charge of the fire will hold a public meeting tonight at 7 at Sedona Red Rock Jr./Sr. High School. Highway-89A remains closed between Sedona and Fort Tuthill in Flagstaff.
