6/24 A test blast occurred this morning at the future site of a Quick Trip gas station, on Highway-69, in Prescott. The test occurred between 4:30 and 5-am. Additional blasting will occur, when needed, through August. Officials say in the future, a horn will sound 5-minutes before each blast; an all-clear horn will sound after the blast is completed. Vehicle and foot traffic will be stopped during each blast.
