3/19 ADOT’s ready to begin work on Flagstaff’s newest roundabout. Crews will begin working at the intersection at Fourth Street and Cedar Avenue/Lockett Road at the end of the month. The new roundabout will have flashing pedestrian crossing beacons and will help to slow speeds, avoid angle collisions and add a crosswalk at the fourth leg of the intersection. Crews will generally work Mondays through Fridays, from 6-am to 6-pm each day with some weekend work possible. A full closure of the intersection is scheduled from May 23-rd to August 4-th with the entire project done by this fall.
