6/15 Last Thursday, YCSO arrested a Cottonwood man on child molestation charges. Officials say 31-year-old Chester Cox is a teacher at Dr. Daniel Bright Elementary School and a youth coach. The investigation started when a woman told a deputy at their church that her son had been molested by an adult male when he was 11 to 12 years old; the victim is now 18. The abuse did not occur on school grounds, but at a private residence. Cox was jailed on 3-counts of sexual conduct with a minor and 2-counts of molestation of a child.
