6/12 A pavement preservation project will begin on Highway-179 next Wednesday. ADOT says crews will be working from Red Rock Ranger Station to Chapel Road. Work will take place from 9-pm to 6-am, Sunday nights through Friday mornings. Traffic will be reduced to 1-lane through the work zone with a flagger and pilot vehicle guiding motorists through the area. The restrictions will be lifted each morning. The entire project should be finished by this Fall.
