6/09 The Papa Fire, east of Flagstaff, is estimated at 135-acres with 0% containment. Coconino National Forest responded to the fire Monday afternoon. Crews were able to build a containment line around the fire overnight and today are working to hold those lines. No structures or infrastructure are currently threatened. The public is asked to avoid the area. Today’s Red Flag weather will make firefighting challenging. There was no information on what started the blaze.
