Flagstaff Considering Hike in Primary Property Taxes

6/02 The city of Flagstaff is notifying property taxpayers that the city intends to raise its primary property taxes of $500,411 or 6.89%. Property taxes on a $100-thousand home are currently at $58.07. This would increase to $62.07 if the increase is approved. The additional funds would be designated to ongoing fire and police operations. A public hearing the on the proposed increase is scheduled for June 16-th, at 3-pm, in City Council Chambers.
