5/20 Page Police were involved in a struggle with a man wanted on a felony warrant. Officers stopped a vehicle Tuesday afternoon and one of them recognized the passenger as being a wanted individual. As they attempted to arrest the individual, a struggle ensued. Officers gained control of the suspect and found the loaded gun in the suspects waistband. In addition, the serial number had been filed off the weapon. The subject was jailed on the felony warrant as well as for misconduct involving a firearm. The weapon is being sent to a crime lab for analysis; additional charges are pending.
