5/14 The National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center says El Niño is likely to emerge soon. There’s an 82% chance it will move in between now and July and a 96% chance it will continue December through February. El Nino typically means cooler temperatures and above normal precipitation. An El Nino Watch is in effect.
