5/13 The city of Sedona will not appeal last week’s ruling by the Yavapai County Superior Court related to the lawsuit against the city by the Save Sedona Committee in connection to the Western Gateway property. The committee filed a suit against the city called the Cultural Park Preservation Act initiative. The initiative will appear on the July 21-st ballot and the city is in the process of taking arguments for or against the measure. The next city meeting for the property is set for May 26-th, at 4:30, at City Hall. The council will discuss issuing a Letter of Intent and Request for Information regarding redeveloping the up to 5,500-person amphitheater.
