5/13 Tonto National Forest officials say the Horseshoe Fire, south of Horseshoe Lake, is 80% contained at around 250-acres. Containment lines were strengthened yesterday and last night along Horseshoe Dam Road and the Verde River. Smoke and isolated pockets of heat continued to consume within the interior posing no threat to containment.
